We got over 1000 hits on our site in just a few days. From
the day it went live, we had several showings per day and
were under contract within five days. This was truly a
seamless and nearly effortless undertaking. Your competitors
don't offer nearly the amount of services that you do and
with all of the assistance you provided, you turned a
normally stressful process into an enjoyable one.
The buyers had an agent and she was very easy to work with. It added a little bit of extra peace of mind to know that we had a seasoned realtor involved with the transaction so we knew we weren't forgetting anything, but in hindsight, I think we could've handled it just as well with no outside help. We sold it for full asking price $147,500 and closed 10/4. I
think people should go ahead and list it with MLS. We sold
within about three weeks of doing that through an agent.
Luckily we weren't in a hurry and it worked out perfectly
since we were building a new home. We always received a lot
of compliments on the pictures. Your tips made a huge
difference. The customers who were surfing the other FSBO
sites made comments as to the pictures on yours vs. others.
The lock box helped tremendously with the agents, we should
have gotten one at the beginning and put agents welcome on
the site. A lot of agents obviously search your site. This
is still beneath the 6% that any good agent charges even
with your fees. I'm a loan officer and I know that if you
pay the agent less than 6% and they have to split it with
the selling agent, they won't work hard for you. So this
worked great for us. Thanks for all your help. You
definitely have the best FSBO site in this market.

I still received inquiries about the house even when it was
under contract. We have done "for sale-by owner" twice now and
both times we had only serious lookers and buyers. That was the
case with this house as well. We had three offers for this
property and nine people looked at it. We refused the first two
and got the price we wanted from the third. Our house sold for
$145,000 which was the minimum that we would accept as we felt
the house was priced fairly.
I think you have this website down to an art. The signs
pre-made, the information given on the site gives the
prospective buyer a true picture of the property and certainly
helps the seller weed out only those interested in their
property. I have recommended you to several people and told
them how easy this is. We were selling my parents elderly
parents property and it came at a very stressful time for us due
to other commitments and things happening that we could not
control, yet the process of selling was so easy because we only
dealt with serious buyers.

Well, it's a done deal and in only 5 weeks! We closed
today with a selling price of $268,000 (started high to leave room
for negotiating). Your service, and that of the closing attorneys
you recommended, was impeccable. We used your website on the
recommendation of a neighbor who had used your service to sell her
own home; it could not have been easier. You told us to expect 2-3
prospects a week and we almost had that each day! The web-page was
beautiful and informative; our buyer even enlarged and downloaded

Hi,
I closed yesterday (Aug 12th) on my daughters home. We listed the home at 198,500 and sold for 195,500. Since my daughter had already moved out of town, I had my doubts about not using an agent. But, she had bought this home just one year ago using your service (she did have an agent), saw how easy it was and wanted to save money on commissions. Your service was great!!! Everyone who saw the home saw it from your website and commented on the pictures being so helpful. The day my house went on the site, I immediately had
an appointment for that night! I had lots of activity on the house
including a contract within the first week that unfortunately fell
through rather quickly. I had a second contingency contract and
showed the house a day after the contingency agreement and was made
an offer for more money than the first buyer with conditions the
first buyer couldn't meet. We had a deal, and that was on day 22 of
being on the market! I made an extra $1,100 AND new friends out of
my buyers. I know my house has great new owners and they are going
to be very happy there.
I can't say enough good things about the folks at ForSale-ByOwner.com. They have been absolutely great and so helpful! They did not hesitate one time to answer any questions I've had, even when I've called with something, shall we say, a little less than smart! I did not tell you that I wrote my own contract 3 days
after your sign went up!!! We elected not to use the "Under contract"
sign as we thought this deal might not go through, and we felt we
should continue showing it, so we did. I had three other people in
line in case the deal fell through!!! How amazing is that? I didn't
know I had such a hot little commodity on my hands. Seriously, I ran
an ad in the Birmingham News simultaneously, and the two did work
together as I got calls from both places, but I actually sold it from
the website.
There is NO DOUBT I could have held out for more
money, but we wanted a quick sale since I am now living in
Huntsville.
