I first found this home on ForSale-ByOwner.com
approximately six years ago and decided to purchase it.
Based on my previous experience, my wife and I decided
to use ForSale-ByOwner.com when we decided to sell the
house this year. I am pleased to say that the
buyers saw the home on the site and we had a contract in
less than one month. We would recommend your site
to anyone trying to sell their home "by owner" and would
encourage them
to take advantage of the resources your company provides
such as the complimentary legal advice to keep "peace of
mind" during the contract negotiation process. The
overall value we received was much greater than the
price we paid for your services.
We used your recommended closing attorney, Joseph Kreps.
For us, this was one of the best features of your
service. We do not claim to be very educated about
real-estate and especially about the legal wording in
contracts. I must admit, without the help of Mr.
Kreps and his staff, I would not have had the peace of
mind that I enjoyed during the negotiation
and closing process. While the price negotiation
"is what it is," much of the legal wording in the
real-estate contract was foreign to me. Before
signing the contract, I had Mr. Kreps review it in full
(at his suggestion). Not only was his service
complimentary, but he also provided some very helpful
suggestions about wording that should be changed.
I incorporated
all of his recommendations in the final contract and
avoided the potential problems that could have occurred
if I had not received his counsel. On top of that, his
company is one of the most responsive organizations I
have ever worked with. Calls were always returned
promptly and everyone at the firm went out of their way
to be helpful. In short, Kreps is one of the few
businesses that has many clients, but treated my wife
and me as if we were their only one.
Thank you very much for helping us sell our home so
quickly. You have a lot of fans and we are
included in that group!

When we decided to sell our home I looked around and saw
lots of houses just sitting. I received a flyer in the
mail and called you. You came to my house and took the
most beautiful pictures. Your daughter was quick to get
the website up and running.
I will not lie that I was nervous but was reassured all
the way. We put the signs in the yard and went to the
beach. The day after we came home (7 days later) the
house sold!!
The lawyer’s office that you provide is great as I had
to call them several times and they never seemed to
mind. We needed to close in 10 days for the new buyers
and they came through. We closed last Friday and it was

has contributed to selling both of my homes. There is
nothing worse than finding a home on line that is listed
with a realtor and having to give your life story just
to view the details of the home. Your web site
eliminates this frustration. I would always recommend
using your web site to sell a home. I sold this home to
a couple being relocated from Pennsylvania. They had a
realtor that brought them to me, but they had seen the

I do have to tell you that agents
were contacting us 24/7 on trying to list our home
with them and I have to tell you, we just "hung in
there" because we knew what a great website you guys
had. People would even call and make comments
on how beautiful our home was and how great the

We would encourage people to know the value of their home
and set their price accordingly. Do not get discouraged if

The first offer on our house was from a couple from out of
state. They were working with a realtor and without seeing
the house in person they had the realtor contact us and
evaluate the house. The realtor made us an offer on their
behalf and a contract was written. The contract was written
on August 20th. The couple came down on Sept. 23 to see the
house. When asked why our house without seeing it first they
said that the pictures sold them. Of course they were unable
to sell their house so we listed again as available. We had
immediate response as soon as you moved the "under contract"
from the site. The couple that is buying the house is local
and they said that they had been watching it on the site for

The Web site was the reason the house sold. In fact, the
buyers told us that the pictures were so appealing on the
Web site that they considered the house even though they did
not initially want to live off Highway 280 and probably
would not have visited the house if it were only available
via a realtor listing or newspaper listing.
There was no realtor involved in the process, and we didn't
need one. The process went great without one! I feel that we
were able to negotiate a little more on the price since
there was no commission to consider, and that benefited both
parties!
We were very pleased with the service. The Web site truly
makes all the difference. The sign in the yard alone was not
enough for us - we really needed those beautiful Web site
pictures to entice buyers, and it worked!
