Your web site is GREAT! Our house was listed with an agent for 11 months before we pulled it and listed it on your web site. We had a contract in 3 days and we closed 14 days later. Closing couldn't have went any smoother. The "For Sale-By Owner" option was truly a win-win situation for both the buyer and the seller. We received the same amount that we would have received if the agent would have sold it (which it seemed that she wasn't able to do after 11 months) and the buyer saved the realtor's commission (after all - the buyer ALWAYS pays the realtor's commission one way or another). Furthermore, selling by owner allowed both parties to communicate directly with each other which eliminated the chance of miscommunications and missed opportunities. It allowed us to talk directly with one another and come to agreements that met everyone's needs. I have recommended this to at least 4 other people who have also listed and 2 of the 4 people have already sold or have a contract.

I would recommend it to ANYONE!!!

The buyer was the first person to see the townhouse after the sign went up. Activity was high throughout the weeks with several offers. Response to the sign and website was very positive. The location probably brought more inquiries from the sign than from the website. But I didn't always think to ask.

The website was very helpful in selling our home! We had about 14 people come to see our house in the 2.5 weeks that it was on your site, all of them had seen it online first. A friend of ours, who we haven't talked to in a while, had been looking on your website and just happened to see our house. They then called a friend of theirs who was looking for a house, and she is the one who bought it! She came and looked at it on a Thursday, and we had a contract on it by Wed. of the next week! Hopefully everything will be fine and we will close on the 25th of this month. We have found more houses on your website than we have found through the MLS listings. It seems as though all of the nicer houses are selling by owner these days.

We were asking 158,000 and we got 152,000, which is what we were hoping for.

Thank you for the professional manner in which you handled the listing of our home on your ForSale-ByOwner.com web site. We were fortunate enough to sell our house the next day after the evening it was listed. We didn't even get the For Sale sign in the ground before the buyer called for an appointment. We never did have to place the information box in the front yard! This may not be typical, but it does prove that a lot of folks check this site on a regular basis when they are in the house hunting mode.

I would recommend your service to anyone who is selling their house and has the desire to save a lot of money. The web site is very well organized and easy to navigate. It's real easy to check out and the detail that Pat and his staff provide is outstanding. I really think that it is much better than some realtor sites that I have visited.
